Now an annual event- the Community Care Committee serve a delicious lunch to local residents at the West end of the Church. This year on 4th February, everyone enjoyed baked potatoes, with various fillings, salads and accompaniments, including a glass of wine (!) followed by trifle, coffee & mints.

Two years ago on 13th November 2009 as Jim Wheldon, Churchwarden, was celebrating a special birthday, the guests sang "Happy Birthday" and he was presented with a cake complete with one candle!
