Giving to St Martin's
Supporting Ministry and Mission
The important work of the St Martin's Church in the parish, which costs about £500 per day, is only possible because of the generous financial gifts of donors. Please consider giving to support our ongoing Christian service of the local community.
Making a Donation
Are you a taxpayer?
-
If you are a taxpayer then St Martin's Church can claim the tax back on any donations you make. This makes a big difference to us so please let us know.
-
If you are a regular giver then either email us or download the form here, complete it, and return it to the Church Office.
-
If you are making a one-off donation then please put it in one of the blue envelopes you can find in the pews and complete the details on the back of the envelope.
1. A standing order with your bank
You can set up a standing order with your bank so that a regular amount goes out each month on whichever day of the month works best for you. You can delay, increase, decrease, or skip donations to fit with your financial circumstances. For more information please contact us.
2. An anonymous envelope scheme
Here you will receive a set of bespoke envelopes with a number printed on that is unique to you. This will allow you to put a donation into the offering whenever you wish without anyone (other than the Planned Giving Recorder) being able to find out who gave the money. For more information please contact us.
Regular Giving

You can put a cheque or cash into one of the blue envelopes you can find in the pews and place it in the offering basket or hand it into the Church Office. If you are a taxpayer please complete the back of the envelope so that we can claim the tax back.

One-off Gifts
One-off Gifts
Did you know that you can donate to St Martin's at no cost to yourself? There are two ways to do this:
EASYFUNDRAISING
Easyfundraising is an organization that enables a small percentage of the money that you spend shopping online to be donated to a charitable cause of your choice.
All that you need to do is to
1. set up an account with easyfundraising.org.uk
2. search for "St Martin's Worcester" and set it as your cause
AMAZON SMILE
If you buy goods on Amazon you can do so via the smile.amazon.co.uk site. Amazon donates 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns, and shipping fees) of eligible purchases to the charitable organisation of your choice. Select your charity as "The Parochial Church Council Of The Ecclesiastical Parish Of St Martin With St Peter, Worcester" and whenever you buy from the Amazon Smile site money will automatically go to St Martin's.
That's it!
Online Shopping
Once you have made provision for your loved ones, you have the opportunity to make a lasting gift to God, by leaving a legacy to his church. A gift in your Will to your local church is one of the most valuable and lasting ways you can continue to support its mission and ministry within your community.
