Children and Families

All families are welcome at all our Sunday services. At the 10am service, there is a welcome space for you at the front, with mats to sit on, books to read, and toys to play with. 

• Once a month - usually the fourth Sunday - our Eucharist becomes Altogether Worship, and we aim to include everyone, whatever their age, in the whole service – in the music, the readings, the prayers, and especially in the talk.

• On the other Sundays, during part of our Sung Eucharist, children are invited (accompanied by a parent/carer) to join Junior Church for stories, games, and crafts in the Lower Vestry, to explore faith together, before joining the rest of the congregation for Communion and to share something of what they have learnt and made.

• In addition, on the first Sunday of the month in the afternoon, families of 0-11 year-olds meet at Forest Church - out of doors for discovery and age-appropriate worship.
