About the Event
St Martin's Church and the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) invite experienced choral singers to come and sing a Choral Evensong that commemorates the anniversaries of William Byrd and Thomas Weelkes, who both died in 1623.
Distinguished choral conductor Paul Trepte (formerly Director of Music at Ely Cathedral) will guide the 'Come and Sing' Choir in music that would have been familiar to a Worcester congregation in the years leading up to the English Civil War.
