An invitation to experienced choral singers
You are invited to join St Martin's Choir for a BCP Choral Evensong, featuring music by Frederick Gore Ouseley and Herbert Sumsion, including a much-loved anthem written by Sumsion specially for St Martin's Choir.
The 'Come and Sing' Choir will be conducted by Piers Maxim, Director of Music at Malvern Priory, and Conductor of Elgar Chorale.
Piers has a wealth of experience as a choral conductor, not only in church, but also in concerts and opera houses around the world. Choral Evensong has been a part of his life since he was a chorister at St Paul’s Cathedral in London, and we’re pleased to have his setting of the Responses in our repertoire at St Martin’s.
