The Oriel Singers

Worcester Early Music Band

Conductor Ben Sawyer

This celebrated chamber choir based in Cheltenham joins forces with a band of violins, cornetts and sackbuts from Worcestershire Early Music for an exciting concert of great 17th century polychoral music from across Europe.

The concert will include a reflective first half - Padilla's Missa Ego flos campi, Gesualdo O vos omnes, Schütz Selig sind die Toten - and finishing with Monteverdi's glorious Beatus Vir.

In the second half there's more Monteverdi and Schütz plus Giovanni Gabrieli's Jubilate Deo and In Ecclesiis, after which the concert is named.

Tickets - £13 in advance (£15 on the door), free entry for students - available from The Oriel Singers, Worcester Live (01905 611427) or the Team Office (01905 358083).
