About the Event

The Musical Storytellers Shulah Oliver (violin) Janine Parsons (piano) Chris Jaeger (narrator)

With inventive, innovative and humorous presentation, The Musical Storytellers bring well-known classical music, and the story of that music, to young audiences. Children (and adults) will be entranced and entertained as they listen to the music and the stories. Both educational and fun, these programmes offer an enjoyable introduction to a range of music, and numerous opportunities for follow-ups – drawing and colouring, creative writing, poetry, music, dance and story-telling.

The two stories in today's programme - Swan Lake and The Carnival of the Animals - last about 30 minutes each, with an interval for tea, coffee, fruit juices and home-made cakes.

Tickets: £5; children under 12 £2
