About the Event
For the last ten years we've held a Christmas Tree Festival in Church, and you won’t be surprised that this year is different! Due to the restrictions of space and opening hours, our Christmas Tree Festival is moving online.
We are setting up a photo album on our Facebook page and inviting everyone to contribute. We hope to have photos from some of the organisations that normally contribute to our trees in Church, as well as from any individuals or families who would like to share a photo of their tree at home. Tell your friends and neighbours!
How to contribute
Send a nice photo of your tree to our email address (in the blue box at the bottom of this page) any time from now up to Wednesday 23 December. Make sure the whole tree is in the frame of your picture, and give us your name or any brief details that you would like to go with the photo on Facebook. If you prefer to remain anonymous, make up a name for your tree.
How to view the trees
We’ll start to upload photos on Sunday 6 December and they’ll be available to view up to Wednesday 6 January. If you have a Facebook account, make sure you Like our page so that you get notifications of updates. Go to the album, click on each tree, and Like or Comment on your favourite(s). (No adverse comments, please!) If you don’t have a Facebook account you’ll still be able to view the photos, but you won’t be able to Like or Comment.
Can you help us?
If you enjoy participating, please consider making a donation to St Martin’s Church, to help with our work and mission in these difficult times. You can make a payment here: Donate Thank you!
