WOW Open Day

We are Widening Our Welcome to respond to the needs of the community highlighted during the pandemic.

Our Rector, the Revd Peter Hart, explains:

"As we emerge from lockdown, we want to welcome every member of our community into St Martin’s. The initial upgrade of our facilities downstairs is now complete and available for community use. The next phase will be to upgrade facilities and storage at church level, so that new ventures of every sort can flourish. We shall be delighted to show you round on 3rd July."

To comply with current Covid guidelines some activities will be outside in the Church grounds, with social distancing in Church to sit and listen to live music, view exhibitions and displays of children's work, and see our new facilities.

Inside Church

Covid restrictions: one-metre-plus social distancing with face coverings and no mingling between groups of up to 6

• Details of our new and resuming activities
• Exhibitions of children's school work
• Live music from 10.15 - organ - trumpet - piano
• One-way system to lower level to view new toilet facilities and refurbished meeting room
• Homemade Cakes & Preserves Stall
• A chance to donate to our WOW Appeal

Sadly we are still not allowed to serve refreshments, but you are welcome to bring your own drinks and consume them while seated in Church.

Outside Church

Covid restrictions: groups of up to 30 may meet - it is your personal choice on whether to keep your distance
